2015: Women Together; Breaking Barriers

With access to the right resources, women can move mountains. In fellowship over food and fun we saw the confidence needed to overcome the barriers we set for ourselves.

2014: Steel Sharpens Steel

Our very 1st Annual Event brought diverse women together to have "real talk" without judgement. These women were the initial supporters of the concept of Brooklyn WATE.

When women have conversations that are open and honest, we become mavericks to our own success and growth. We challenged our participants to move beyond their circumstances and embrace the "Win!"

We saw the mirrors of womanhood reflected throughout the event. It showcased our limitless potential for being vocal and creating a space to be experienced to as the royalty we are, using our voices as the medium to be heard.

2017: PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

This year's event saw different women who stood in their confidence and shared with one another. We saw that as Women of Color we hold the same honor of being whole and completely in perfection in spite of our imperfections.

2023: The Power of Togetherness

Self care & Partnership is this year's theme. We are aiming to encourage growth in our finances, our relationships, our education, and in our families. But most of all, we are using this year's theme to be together unapologetically.
